Juju Hat Egg Shell
The Juju hat is an African headdress symbol of prosperity and divinity for the Bamiléké, an ethnic group from Cameroon's west and northeast provinces. It took 4 artisans and several days to create one of these carefully constructed masterpieces. The piece is made of natural wild bird feathers stitched onto a tightly woven raffia base and covered with wood or cloth. A loop is sewn onto the piece to allow it to be used as a wall hanging. Given their impressive visual effect, rich colors and beautiful textures, Juju Hats are the perfect way of dressing up a wide variety of spaces! We’re talking dining rooms, bedrooms, entryways, closets, even bathrooms! Whether it’s one Juju hat as a focal point above a fireplace, or a whole wall cluster, it is Wow factor guaranteed!
Care: Once in a while, dust or a wipe over with a dry cloth. Do not expose to direct sunlight to avoid discoloration. When not in use, the Juju hat can be neatly folded in on itself for easy storage.
