A step away from the conventional brought to you using a rare, traditional method. This tea is made in Maduphur Village using a wooden rice pounding "dheki" and dried over a wood fire. A full-flavoured cup with a sweet, smoky aroma.

We Love: This finely broken whole leaf tea has a rich, round body, a deep red colour, and a daring silhouette of sweet smoke.

Ingredients: Wood-fired black tea
Serving Tip: Use 1 heaping teaspoon for 500ml of boiling water. Let it steep for 4 minutes.
Nine small-scale tea growers in Assam, India grow organically and process these teas at their garden sites. They own and operate these tea gardens and rely on the sale of their teas as the primary source of income. All of the processing of the tea is done by hand in very small drying facilities that each tea garden has setup themselves.
